the market will be postponed from this sunday
to next sunday, same location, just next week.
its a little too hot and i'm a little too busy.
my apologies. next week will be the tentative
last week the market will be located at the
corner of ludlow and clifton. so be sure to
bring your stuff for giving since the next
location may or may not be
so close to your house.

a call for carts

to make this market truly mobile, we need carts, wheel-barrels, wagons and other types of vehicles to house all of the goods brought to the market. even large sacks are good too. if you or anyone you know possess these, please bring them!

some people have been confused about what types of items to bring, so here is a list of some suggestions:

*televisions, stereos, and computers
*CDs, DVDs, videotapes, and cassettes
*clothing
*suitcases, bookshelves, and ironing boards
*seeds and vegetable starts
*shampoo, conditioner, moisturizer, and other toiletries
*children’s toys, baby clothes, and diapers
*toilet paper, cleaning supplies, and homemade soap

The goals of the Free Mobile Market are as follows:
*To give back to the community- literally.
*To set an economic precedent, exposing an alternative way of obtaining basic needs (and then some.)

Why Mobile?
*Through the use of wagons, wheel barrels, vehicles, and makeshift carts, the market can
move to any given location.
*This is beneficial in keeping the event happening despite obstacles.
*It also allows the market to reach more people in multiple places.
